Recycling

Drop-Off location: Public Service Department building at 1411 1st Avenue, click for more information.

  • Accepted Materials: plastics #1 and #2, mixed paper, newspaper, magazines, tin and aluminum, cardboard, and shredded paper.  For a complete list see Grinnell’s Acceptable Items on the City’s website.
  • Materials NOT accepted: plastic bags, single use table ware, gift wrap, styrofoam.  For a complete list see Grinnell’s Unacceptable Items on the City’s website.

Yard Waste
